My Friend, My Hero....Catherine

This is the Edwards family that consist of Wes, Catherine, Jake, Cooper and Landon.  I love this family and am mourning with them at this time as their sweet baby Landon was born and then died a few hours later.  I have felt so helpless in helping them and providing them the comfort they need.  Sitting around thinking about them yesterday I realized that what I can do is to continue to pray for them and pray that the Lords choicest blessings will be upon them.  The Edwards family is my hero.  They are the most amazing family.  They are a perfect example to me of true love and friendship.  I have always admired the fact that Wes takes Catherine out on dates everyweek.  Catherine plays the piano with such grace and softness that brings the spirit into any primary meeting.  She is caring and loving and would give you the shirt off her back.  She did the most bravest thing of all and carried a beautiful baby boy named Landon.  She gave him a place to grow and develop for nine months.  She sacraficed her body so that he could be born and breathe for a few short hours before Heavenly Father took him back to live with him.  Landon's perfect little body is so beautiful and as I glanced at him in his bassinet tears rolled down my face as I thought of the sweet spirit that had just returned to live with his Heavenly Father.  I stroked his little head with all that black hair and whispered to him that I hope he knows that he has the most perfect parents on earth and he couldn't have come to a better family that will remember him always, treasure him always and be with him for the eternities because of their sacred covenants they made with Heavenly Father in the Temple where families are sealed forever.  The weeks and months ahead are going to be long and hard but I hope that Catherine, Wes, Cooper and Jake know that the Hill Family loves them and we will be praying for them.  Heavenly Father will be so close to them and I believe that their sweet boy Landon will be right by their side as their guarding angel cheering them on in this life till they meet again.

I had no idea you had written this! It was very sweet and thoughtful. Very well written, I might have to copy it!
You are very kind and even though we haven't seen each other much, I know I could have called on your for ANYTHING. You are one that would give your shirt off your back too you know.
This whole thing has made me grow closer to God and my family and I find myself wanting to be with them all the time - which may be partly why we haven't seen much of each other.
Thanks again for your kind words. They were very sweet and won't be forgotten.
