MASTERS OF THE BIKES

Parker, Paige and Madison took their first bike ride today on all of their bikes. Everyone did well and they were adorable. Training wheels are a blessing. However, Paige's training wheels will be coming off very soon and she will be riding a bike on her own. Cross our fingers and with a lot of prayers it will be accomplished at the end of this summer.

Little Paige on the Prairie

Paige just spent this week at Girl Scout Camp. They took her back in time to when Laura Ingalls Wilder was a girl. She had a blast wearing her bonnet, making a prairie doll out of rags, going to a traditional school and getting in trouble for wearing nail polish, making butter, homemade bread, carving things with knives, pumping water, the list goes on and on. It wasn't an easy camp either. It was outdoors where there was no trees for shade, so she really was exhausted each and every day. She learned how to drink a lot of water and is so grateful for what she has in this day and age. She has talked non stop about everything she has learned and so now I have got to get her hooked on the shows of Little House on the Praire and the books since she is reading now.

Everything to Me

Turn off my music player at the very bottom and watch the video above and be ready to cry your eyes out. This video is dedicated to all the parents out there who have adopted a special spirit from a special daughter of God and dedicated to the daughter of god who has given up that special spirit so that another couple could love them. Thanks to our best friends who adopted such a sweet spirit and loves him more and more every day. You two are the best!!!! We love you Jacob and we love your birth mother for giving you to your awesome parents.

P90X Work Out Program

A lot of people have been asking me how I have lost my weight and what I have done. Brendon and I bought a program called P90X. You go to www.beachbody.com and click on P90X. This program comes with whole work out book and diet book to get you started and get you through your three months of intense work out. The total cost for the program is $138.98. In the beginning I didn't think I was going to be able to get through the program. I couldn't do a sit up or a push up. Now I can do them both and am stronger than ever. The diet was hard to get onto but once I changed my eating habits and completely wiped out sugar for the most part it became easier and healthier for me and my family. I don't know what else to tell you. If you have questions email me or right it on here and I will answer you back. The program is totally worth it. I don't have to leave the house to work out and most of the work outs are on an hour except for Yoga and that is for an hour and a half. The only other thing we bought to go along with the program is some weights and exercise bands and a pull up bar from Sports Authority which ran us about $35. Whatever your work out is, do it well and never give up. It is worth it!!!!!

CHORES START EARLY IN THE HILL HOME

Tonight Brendon started to mow the yard and Parker slipped right in underneath his arms and mowed the lawn with him. Good practice for our young Parker, so that when he is big enough and tall enough he can mow it for his daddy and mommy.

WE LOVE SUMMER

We are so glad that summer is here. We love to get out doors and go to different water parks. Today I took the kids to Southlands Mall and they ran through the fountains of water. Actually Paige and Madison ran through the fountains. Parker wanted nothing to do with the water fountains. Hello 90 degree weather. It is about time.

STODDARD FAMILY REUNION

Emily's family came into town this past week and we had a total blast. All of her brothers except Brent and his family could come. We sure missed having them with us. We went shopping, did the zoo, walked the outlet malls, witnessed a funnel tornado cloud, ate lots of junk food, played guitar hero, played the wii, played greed, watched old family disney movies and most important we sat around a lot and talked. Every night we had family prayer and scripture reading together as a big group. Thanks for coming and creating memories that will last a life time. Can't wait til next year!!!!

Tornado Funnel

Today while we were at church the tornado sirens went off and we were all asked to leave our church meetings and gather in the gym. The hail was the size of golf balls. This picture Emily took with here cell phone camera outside of the foyer of the church.
