Everything to Me
Turn off my music player at the very bottom and watch the video above and be ready to cry your eyes out. This video is dedicated to all the parents out there who have adopted a special spirit from a special daughter of God and dedicated to the daughter of god who has given up that special spirit so that another couple could love them. Thanks to our best friends who adopted such a sweet spirit and loves him more and more every day. You two are the best!!!! We love you Jacob and we love your birth mother for giving you to your awesome parents.

You're killing me. I've heard this song before and cried then, too. It's true that the bravest person in this process is the birthmother who carries for 9 months then has the selflessness to want something more for her child than she can provide. We will always be grateful to M's birthmother for making us a family. There's not a day that passes that I forget to thank Heavenly Father for her.
First of all, I just love Mark Schultz...he has one of my favorite voices.
And I saw this song from the perspective of the child, like he is singing about, because I am adopted and I do feel that my birth mother gave me everything.
Because of what she did, I was blessed to be born in a home where I was raised with the knowledge of the Gospel.
She will always have my gratitude and praise for her decision, and I look forward to embracing her one day and saying thank you.
Em - Thank you for sharing this on your blog. It makes me cry every time I hear it. You are so sweet. We do love our birthmother every bit as much as we love the son that she shared with us. It still amazes me that she picked us to be his parents.
Thank you for your "vote of confidence" in my parenting abilities. I think you are an awesome mother and I wish I could be more like you.
