WHEN IT RAINS IT POURS

Do you ever have one of those weeks where you look up at the heavens and you say "What else could possibly break or go wrong?" Well it has been one of those weeks in my home. Monday evening the ceiling in my laundry room gave out do to a water leak from the dishwasher upstairs. I lost quiet a bit of food storage and other valuables that were ruined do to the amount of water pouring out of the ceiling. We ripped out the ceiling dry wall and the carpet and sprayed bleach everywhere. Next, we found another leak under the kitchen sink where the mice had chewed a hole in my line that runs from my ice maker to the faucet. Then, my stove quit working last night. Went to get the oil changed in the van and the technician comes out and tells me that my front engine mount is broken and is hanging by a thread. My timing belt has a slight leak, the right front tire has a nail in it and needs a new tire due to the tread worn off. Brendon's shower started leaking last night into the laundry room. Yet, through all of this I haven't gotten mad once. I have just laughed and went to get Brendon and dig out the old tool set to see if it something that can be fixed by ourselves. When life gives you lemons, make lemonade. Good thing I like lemonade, because I drank a lot of it this week. To make it all better Paige and I got a sitter for the twins tonight and we are off to see Rascal Flatts at the pepsi center.

Oh Emily! I am so sorry about the week you have had. What a good sport you are about things. I know I wouldn't not be taking things nearly as well as you are. I hope you guys have a great time tonight at the concert!

What a good attitude. Because in the end we can't change what happens to us, just how we react to it all.
