10 LBS LOST, 1 PANTS SIZE DOWN AND OUR 1ST 5K

I started working out exactly one month and three weeks ago and I weighed myself this morning and I have lost a total of ten pounds and have gone down one pants size. Yeah for me. I have to say in the beginning it was really hard to start the diet, not eat any sugar, and eat tons of protein. This did give me a great opportunity to eat fish, which I don't get to alot because no one likes it but myself. Once I got into the routine of working out every morning for an hour and eating healthier it has become way easier and I am so glad I have stuck with it. As for Brendon he has lost a lot of weight also (at this moment he is at work and I don't know how much he has lost.) Brendon and I are going to run our first 5k on June 6th and we are so excited. My parents will be here to take care of the kids while we run/walk it.

Happy Mothers Day

First I have to say thanks to Grandma Scheloske whom gave my mother life and raised her to be the fine daughter, mother and wife she is today. Second, I have to thank my own mother whom gave me life. I am thankful for a mother who heard the gospel discussions oh so many years ago and joined the church. I am thankful for all the things she has taught me and sorry for all the times I didn't obey her and disappointed her. I am the mother I am today because of the way I saw my mother in all her aspects of being a mother to my brothers and I. Too my own 3 beautiful, wonderful, god sent children who make my life as a mother absolutely amazing and wonderful every minute of every day. The gifts that I received from Paige were priceless and will be treaured always. To my husband who made me breakfast this morning and gave me another awesome framed picture of Greg Olsen to hang in our home to remind us of the love our savior has for us. I am thankful for all I have and that my Heavenly Father blesses me everyday with the joy of mother hood. To my husband who is my best friend and always makes me feel like a million bucks. I love you Brendon, Paige, Parker and Madison. Thanks for a great day.

We took the kids to McDonalds yesterday. Brendon decided to get involved in the action and play with the kids. Always a kid at heart.
