Today being my 34
th birthday I laid in bed last night thinking over the last 34 years of my life that I can remember. First off, I am forever grateful that my parents met, my mother joined the church, and they had me. I wouldn't be where I am today without two amazing parents. I am grateful for my 3 brothers, their spouses and all my cute nieces and nephews. To my grandparents that are still living and have passed on I am grateful for the heritage they have given me. Last night we celebrated my birthday early because Brendon has to work at the firehouse today. Paige and daddy went shopping and she picked out the coolest things for my birthday. She gave me two aqua globes and a new cowboy hat. Brendon picked out the cake and my was it delicious. Parker and
Madi kept taking my presents and saying "my day, my day."
It was a blast. I love my 3 beautiful children and my awesome husband. I am thankful to be celebrating 34 years on this earth. I am thankful for good friends. Speaking of good friends. My best friend since Junior High sent me a link to her blog last night and she gathered pictures of us from the last twenty plus years together and put them into a slide show last night and did a post for me wishing me a Happy Birthday. I laughed my head off last night recalling all the fun memories we have made. I am also thankful for one good friend whom I only knew for six months, but I felt such a bond with her , her husband and their two cute kids. I miss them so much but just knowing how strong our friendship is, I know that we will be friends forever. (You know who you are in Lake Tahoe). Last but certainly not least I am thankful for My Heavenly Father who has given me the opportunity to be on this earth today. He has given me three spirits of his to raise, and he has also given me trials and tribulations so that I may become stronger spiritually. Thanks to everyone who has made my last thirty four years the best.
